With the chance to miss on your attack, another general question is how much focus you should build up before doing Soul Annihilation. If Sneak attack does benefit Soul Annihilation then Rouge seems to make the most of it, high damage also builds focus fast, but at the same time you can be quite fragile as a Mindstaker and the need to stay in the frontline. Cleaving Stance also has some potential synergy. The main concern of using Soul Annihilation is that it has a chance to miss and wasting all your focus in the process, so Figter helps with this somewhat with accuracy buffs and miss to graze conversions. I heard that while Soul Annihilation does dot crit or graze that it does interact with passives such as 2 Handed Style and Sneak Attack, but I have not tested it myself. Since Soul Annihilation interacts poorly with most other class mechanics, and needs melee range it seems a rogue or fighter are the best fit for multiclass. The damage if the Soul Blade does not stack with bonus crit damage or anything like that, and since all you are doing in this sub class is building up focus to spend on a single attack on the cipher side, you really should multiclass imo. Both have issues which I do not know how to overcome I am considering either a Soul Blade or a Ascendant.
